i am trying to use a joystick to do some basic stuff, i am using the joystick object from the max objects database

the joystick is a basic 'competition pro' one and works on switches so it gives values of 100, 0 or -100 when you move it.

at the moment i am just trying to get it to increase the numbers going into a cycle object when i move it left, which i have managed to do, but i want it to decrease the numbers when i move it right, which i am having trouble with

if you look at the enclosed patch you will see what i mean
