can anyone give me a push start on any recommended tutorial/reading matter for a newby to max msp.

The tutorials are great (8 months later I’m still going through them), but Peter Elsea has some good pdfs at his ftp site too.

ftp://arts.ucsc.edu/pub/ems/MaxTutors

The PQEfavorites.pdf file was helpful narrowing down the more common objects when i first opened max and had no clue what to do next.
