two cameras one computer

February 12, 2009 | 11:36 am

Hi all
I need to connect two cameras in one computer, the place that I need to track is larger than my camera point of view. Someone knows how can I connect them in only one computer?
Thanks
David

Hi, basically,

1.Hardware
First you need a analog framegrabber or a firewire converter or something to connect the cams to your computer.

2.Soft
in Max, on Macintosh you can have several [jit.qt.grab] = capture multiple cam sources.

i would advice using a wider lens (fisheye). if only for tracking you can
deal with the distortion.
