[UB] Max 4.6/Jitter 1.6 – CFM support for AUVI?

Hello

Ive installed the release of 4.6 and Jitter 1.6, as well as installed
the CFM Support. When installing AUVI in /Library/CFMSupport/AuviJLib
and AuviJKey, attempting to instantiate an AUVI object results in an
instant crash.

removing CFM support gives me an error in the Max Console regarding
CFM support not being installed.

Heres the crash log: Powerbook 1.67, 10.4.7, QT 7.1.2

Thanks.

i’m holding off on updating to 4.6/1.6 until i hear more about
Pluggo, Hipno and now Auvi
compatibility. anyone have more info than the statement on the site
about mid-september
availability of Pluggo and Hipno? i’m running on a g4 PB 1.67 with os
x 10.4.7.

Hi Vade,
The CFM support doesn’t apply to jitter objects, so the AUVI objects
won’t play with the UB version of Jitter. If you’re crazy, you could
run both UB and CFM Jitter in parallel and send data in between with
jit.net.send/recv on localhost.

Jitter CFM objects are not supported in Jitter 1.6 UB at this time.
We are hoping that this issue will be addressed with the release of
Jitter 1.5.3 CFM, but no promises.

Ah, ok. thats cool. I was just curious if there was a problem of it
was to be expected. Thanks! This is actually good, as now I wont fall
back on relying on AUVI for all its built in effects and work on re-
building and doing some more custom stuff ;)
