I built a patch for OSC protocol using the udpsend object (i only need to send data). It seems to work pretty good although I haven't tested in depth yet.

However, I'd like to give the option to the user to change the maxqueesize and maxpacketsize values.

i) for maxqueesize the default value is 512. How high this value can be? (i know the value should be a multiplier of 4)

ii) for maxpacketsize the default value is 5096 (as it's written on the help file), but it's also written that you may need to increase this value in case you want to transfer very long max messages. However, the message box next to the description is 

'maxpacketsize 2048'. Does this make sense? I think I'm missing something but not sure what.
