This has to be covered somewhere on the Cycling 74 forums, but I just can't find what I'm sure is a very simple answer to my problem.

I'm trying to begin sending messages between Macbooks, but I cannot seem to establish a connection. I created a computer-to-computer network using airport, set both computers to the same port and set the udpsend to the IP address listed in the network preferences of the receiving computer.

Can anyone give me some troubleshooting advice? The Max tutorials make it seem as though connection should be very straightforward. Is the issue something to do with the ad-hoc network I have created?

I actually figured it out and came on here with he intention of closing this thread. Somehow, the IP address was wrong and I got it updated and working.
