i have experienced some jvm crashes with mxj net.udp.recv and i wanted to replace it with either olaf matthes netreceive or max’s udpreceive.

I briefly tried interchanging the mxj for these objects a few days ago. I didn’t spend much time on it but i got some errors, i think due to the way the packets are formated.

It has only crashed once after running for a week. A random audio file is chosen from a large library of sounds. perhaps there is a bad file in there somewhere
