Ive created a simple app in openframeworks that ill be using to control elements of my patch in jitter. It consists of a 3d sphere that can be rotated by the user, the x and y rotations are sent to max via osc. That is all working fine, on top of this i wish to implement other elements in max when a user interacts with the app. udp seems to receive a constant signal from my app regardless of weather the x or y rotations have changed. I wish to extract a bang only when an interaction occurs. How might i go about this?
