umenu display query

January 10, 2013 | 8:35 pm

Hi,

Rather than having all the filtergraphs displayed, as I have here, Is it possible to ‘store’ them in the umenu so that i can use it to decide which one I want to see ( i.e. have each of the 3 filtergraphs as a choice in the drop-down menu)?

If you have each of the filtergraphs connected to a single coll object where each one is grouped as a list, you can then have the umenu bang out the desired graph. Now if you want to be able to adjust the graphs dynamically, then you would have to have a gate to allow the current graph to be adjusted by the user, but it will still store the values in coll.

Hi,

Having trouble with this still- I know I need to have:

"each of the filtergraphs connected to a single coll object where each one is grouped as a list,"

Would someone be able to show mw an example of this please?

the functionality of this could be extended (ie modify/replace/delete individual items etc) but you should get the idea.
you could also do it in conjunction with the preset object and the pattr system (ie interpolate between items, store without coll etc)
