I'm working on a patch that should record the live input (webcam or whatever), store it on the HD and later, play it again, but with a delay of a couple minutes. 

It sounds fairly simple but I get unwanted 'jumps' because of an unstable Fps. The fps drops from 25 to 3 back up to 14 etc... very unstable. Someone has some tips ???

I work on PC so the example patch is using dx.grab.

P.s: Does anyone know the limit on live video buffering ?
