unwanted "prefix 0" in ubumenu

Hi list,

I have a problem with ubumenu which sometimes
are instanciated with a prefix 0, that I don’t know
where it just comes from.

Example:
I save a patch where there is no prefix, close the patch
and reopen it later, and there it is.

I am sorry that I do not have more information about this,
or step to reproduce the bug. It just seems to happen randomly.

I avoided the problem by always sending a prefix message
with no argument to the ubumenu with loadbang, but
it ‘s just annoying not to know why this happen…

I browsed the archive but didn’t find any post dealing with this.

Anyone experiencing this problem too?

Vincent

Sounds like you’re using an old version (pre 4.5.7) of ubumenu/ubumenu’s
inspector. Please correct me if I’m wrong.

true, I was using 4.5.5 due to ongoing project I did not want to
disturb with new distrib…
Though, I had not seen any fix about this in the change log.
Also, I ran the patch on someone else comp with 4.5.7. and the problem
was there too.
But I just opened the patch, so maybe it was just in the file then.
I now updated to 4.5.7
I’ll let you know if this happen again.
Thanks..

Vincent
