Apologies if this isn’t the right place to post this message – but I’ve had the following request from an associate in London who is urgently looking for someone with Max/MSP skills in Philadelphia. This is for a job that will take just a day of your time
Message from Jemma Gander
We are a TV company, filming in Philadelphia next week, and are looking for a skilled person who has a good, basic knowledge of Max/MSP and sound equipment, preferably an engineer (for ‘expert’ purposes) to test a piece of audio equipment we have on camera.
As time is short, Sarah Angliss (based in Brighton, UK) has kindly offered to set up the protocol for the test in England and to make up some of the Max/MSP patches necessary for the tests. It’ll just involve opening a Max/MSP patch, sending some sounds through some equipment, manipulating those sounds using the patch and so on. This information can be transferred by ftp to the specialist in Philadelphia (or nearby surrounding area) who can then perform the tests for us.
You also need to be equipped with a laptop, soundcard and mic which you can bring with you for the test. Ideally a Mac (as Sarah’s working from an Intel Mac in the UK).
If you think you might be interested in helping out with this then please contact Sarah (via her http://www.spacedog.biz website) or myself at JemmaGander@objectiveproductions.co.uk/ firstname.lastname@example.org or on 011 44 207 202 2378.
I very much look forward to hearing from you.
I sent an email to Sarah…
