use of ImagingSource highres firewire camera on OSX?

July 28, 2006 | 12:02 pm

Hi,

has anyone used high-res firewire camera from The Imaging Source with
max/jitter on Mac OSX ?
such as the ones described on
http://www.1394imaging.com/en/products/cameras/firewire_color/2-99-99.htm
?

in theory, they are IIDC compliant (DCAM protocol), but in practice,
it may be different mainly on OSX…

and on WinXP, can you control all camera parameters?

thanks,

The DFK21F04 isn’t high resolution, however. I can’t say for sure, from experience, how the models you’re interested in work.
