I would like to use the rhythm and volume of the clicks I receive in this patch. Which would be the best way to capture the them so I could bang some nice synthesized sound with them?
all the best,

Create some midi notes and trigger your synths… Or take the bang
itself… And don’t forget there are also quite interesting examples in
the Max folder, which can give you lots of hints…
(I only hear a pretty steady rhythm when opening the patch, you could
even loop it, but I have no idea what you want to trigger with it…)
yes, thank you Stefan, in the mean time I got closer to the solution. I used two filters to separate the high pitched clicks from the low rumbles. Then.. I was looking for an object like bonk, to capture the percussive motions in the signal…. wow and guess what? bonk~ is very good to see this changes in the signal as well.
so I think I could sort it out:)
of course it is a steady rhythm, but I just need the bangs from it to trigger some algorithms… (and I use the cycle, saw, and the tri so whenever I alter just one’s frequency the rhythm changes just a bit or essentially.
all the best,
ps.: yes the Max examples in Max 5 are very advanced!
