Using a USB Mixer

Can someone please explain to me the process of using a USB Mixer with Max? I’ve read the tutorials, trolled the forums, and asked the Google…and got nothing. I imagine it has something to do with the Audio I/O manager. I just didn’t know if there was an object you could use to tap into each channel (not unlike selecting a source from a drop down for ~ezdac).

Thanks

i use my behringer bcf2000 with max/jitter all the time. ctlin and
ctlout are your friends – check them out. there’s also a couple of
nice bcf2000 specific things floating around – if you troll
maxobjects you’ll find ‘em.
cheers

Thanks, I’ll check them out. I looked at Max Objects.com for my mixer (Yamaha MX10) but couldn’t find any.
