Using curve~ to create portamento / glissando in sampler

Hi,

I’m trying to substitute my old portamento function’s line object with curve~, to be able to control the glide more. It works fine, although sometimes curve makes the value that I’m sending to groove~’s speed inlet, drop to near 0 (or, to be more exact, somewhere between 0.0331 and 0.0335). When the values that I give curve~are in between 0.5 and 2 – that is, never near 0. What could I have missed here?

Thanks in advance! I would greatly appreciate any input on this.

We can’t know whats wrong, since we can’t see what you’re sending this patch.

I hooked up a kslider to this real quick, and I never get values that low. At all. So I’m fully suspecting the problem to be malformed midi coming into the patch, since I don’t really see the problem present.

hope that helps a little, I guess :)
