Does anyone know a reliable way to use the groove~ object for pendulum looping while modulating its loop points during playback?

Is there a specific reason you need groove~ to do this? or would wave~ be just as good?

here's one that uses wave~ which makes click-free palindrome with loop-points pretty easy. i keep the pitch constant no matter the loop points, but if you don't want that, you can simply disconnect the right-inlet of rate~:
