Using Osculator + Wiimote with MaxMSP

February 28, 2013 | 9:56 pm

Can someone help me please? I need to create a project that will allow me to use audio loops and layer them (making them musical) and changing their (pitch, reverb, sound etc) using the Wiimote.

But to license the Osculator download it says I need to pay $40 bucks?!?!? I don’t think so — for this one project?

This is not true, OSCulator has a floating price, this means the user can choose to pay $39 (the recommeded price) or anything else, provided it is not lower than $19.

If $19 is still too much for you, then there are other free alternatives. OSCulator provides you the best Wiimote driver, and saves you time, free alternatives require you to work a bit more.

But wait, your user name remind me of something.

So basically you are asking someone to make you homework, and then complain about the price of software?
Don’t assume you are alone on the Internet, this is actually a small world.

You have me all wrong. I learned of the program in class, and I was quoted $19 dollar donation, but was panicking at the $40 price tag before finding out how to change it. Don’t worry, I, like many others have made a donation to your program.

I’m not asking anyone to DO my homework, i’m simply asking how or where I can look to create a specific patch that will allow me to do what I asked above.

And I did what you had told me to do at the Osculator forums, there is nothing wrong with doing so. I don’t need to feel bad about asking for help.
