using space navigator with hi object

October 17, 2007 | 8:23 pm

I want to buy a space navigator. I find that it is an object for that aka.spacenavigator {http://www.iamas.ac.jp/~aka/max/#aka_spacenavigator } but it is for mac. I use windows xp so i try to find a solution ( i must know how can i use space navigator before i will buy it)

It is possible to control space navigator with hi object or any other object.

I have a Space Navigator patch that I made for XP. It has a couple of small (intermittent) problems, but I’ll try to make it presentable and post it later. It includes dominant axis functionality and a gate.

Here, try this patch. If you see any improvements that could be made, please let me know.

You’ve reconciled the difference between the Windows and Mac-based space navigator performance – very cool!

I wonder if I can build off of what you’ve done and create a patch that outputs the same values regardless of the OS? Hmmmm.
