I am using vbap in a studio i compose in to spatialise sound and it works perfectly. I have just set up my macbook pro in the studio and i have put the whole vbap folder with the help file and [vbap] and [define_loudspeakers] objects in Max's search path. For some reason though when i open the help file or try to create the [vbap] and [define_loudspeakers] objects they are orange as if max cant find the objects. Both the computer in the studio (which finds the objects fine) and my Macbook Pro are running Max 5.

Can anyone think of anything which could be stopping max finding the objects?

To clarify, under file preferences i have max searching Macintosh HD:/applications/Max5 AND Macintosh HD:/applications/max 5/externals and i have placed the whole Vbap folder in the externals folder.

There were multiple copies of the same object in the vbap folder. I had to delete the max 4.5 version and now it has loaded perfectly.
