As part of a modular patching management and preset system I’ve been working on I have been developing the upgrades using a set of patches made by my collaborator. We recently ran into a strange problem. [vbapan~] is used for most of the spatialization in the master patch and while working on the project I had a feeling the panning was not working correctly. When the two of us were discussing the project on the phone today, I guess my suspicions were confirmed. While I have come across it before, I have not actively used [vbapan~] in any of my patches in the past so perhaps I am just missing seeing a patching mistake made during the upgrades.

And now the question: the original patches that were the base for this project were still from Max4.6 so it came up in conversation that possibly there is some issue with [vbapan~] on Max5. Most of me thinks that can’t be the case, but I thought I’d ask if anyone is using [vbapan~] in Max5 with it working as expected and/or if anyone has noticed issues with this object in Max5?

Thanks!

Nevermind, we found [vbapan~] works fine in Max5 (as I suspected). Guess we have more problem solving to do.
