Hello,
Planning and producing a live visual show, and in the process of ripping the astronomical amount of video to my computer from the several dozen found/home movie type VHS tapes I’ve got lying around.

Was wondering if anyone know of existing, fairly cheap VCR/VHS deck with serial (i.e. arduino hackable) or even better, ieee1394 controllable playback and tracking functions?

Been looking for some, but to no avail. Would hopefully spend less than a hundred on a used one too.

Thanks!
