Hi there,

I am in the process of porting my quadpan~ object to
UB and a few of the improvements that I added are
attributes and pattr support.

Now everything seemed to be working fine until this
morning when I tested the quadpan~ object with pattr.
(it’s actually called w.quadpan~, but i’ll refer to it
as quadpan~)

Here are the steps that bring me to the bug:

- instantiate the new quadpan~ (attached)
- instantiate a pattr object.
- name quadpan~ something like foo.
- bind pattr to quadpan~ by sending the ‘bindto foo’
message to pattr
- NOW try to save the patch.
- IF max doesn’t crash, you should get an ‘error 0
creating file’ in the Max window. From now on, it’s no
longer possible to save the patch.

I checked and rechecked my code and it seems to be ok.
I followed by the letter the pattr SDK. I have never
seen a MSP object and pattr work together. Could it be
something related to the fact that pattr doesn’t like
MSP objects?

Any clues anybody?

Thanks.

- Luigi
