video bang

December 30, 2008 | 2:51 pm

I am trying to figure out a way to generate a bang at the end of a video that can trigger a new video. Does this make sense? Any suggestions?

[jit.qt.movie] has an attribute called ‘loopreport’. if you turn that
on (e.g. [jit.qt.movie @loopreport 1]) then every time your clip hits
its looppoint, the message ‘loopnotify’ will come out of the status
(right-hand) outlet of [jit.qt.movie]. you can use that message to
trigger whatever you like.

make sense?

Thank you, that sort of works but: what if I have a "loop 0" message?

try using ‘loop 3′… it doesn’t loop the clip but will still adhere
to ‘looppoints’ and will send out loop notification when it hits the
end:
