video cutting // record output for production ?

May 27, 2012 | 5:08 pm

Hi,

I searched in the forum and found some answers but nothing really precise about my problem.

I want to sequence some video loops from Ableton live, sending midi notes to max, and sequencing my video loops with jit.qt.movie.

what would be the best way to record the output video ? jit.qt.record (I don’t mind the sound) ?

the patch is done, but I’m wondering how to get the best possible quality for my output video recording, as it’s meant to go back to the video editor to edit it all in Final Cut.

anyone had an experience like this ?

hi there,
combining jit.gl.asyncread and jit.qt.record can help.

personally, I’m using an external solution (which is definitively a workaround) like screen flow and capturing the render as hidef
it definitively works and I know I’m not the only one doing this here.

ok so jit.qt.record won’t be able to record it in a HD format ?

shame…
