video resolution in jitter

Hi there,

I have been using MaxMSP for a few months now and recently decided to purchase jitter. I am a novice when it comes to this video stuff so please bear with me;

I am trying to figure out how to get the best resolution for my video. I have tried playing with some of the jitter objects and the resolution always seems to be really low when I expand the image to the full screen.

I am sure this is something really simple that I am just missing… can some one explain or direct me to a thread that has discussed this already?

thanks

oh yea, I should mention I have tried a couple different files of different resolutions with pretty much the same results.

If your source is low rez, your output will be too. You can turn on
interpolation in the window to help things. you can also use a
videoplane to display the video to get interpolation going as well.
If you want to do high rez processing, you should look into using
shaders/slabs.
