video size and encoding for very large amount of videos
Hello,
I'd like to run from 30 to 60 videos at the same time and i guess i'm
going to have problems.
Witch computer configuration will be able to handle this (mac or pc, no
matter) ? What about the Video card ? Will a simple PowerBook be
efficient enough ?
I would like to save the most quality i can, but i still want my system
to be smooth & stable. Does the size of the files (in bytes) matter ?
Does the size of the file (resolution) matters ? Does the size of the
jit.window matters too ?
thanks in advance
best regards

Sorry, but for what possible reason are you going to be running 30-60
videos at the same time?
That said, without further information about size, framerate, codec,
etc., there's very little to say, except that, yes, bytesize,
resolution, relationship between window/native resolution of the movie,
codec type, codec quality, etc. etc. etc. are all factors which will
become important. But your question is too vague to answer specifically.
