Visuals to audio beginner help

April 2, 2007 | 1:17 pm

Hi, I have been using max/msp for a few projects at uni and have been getting along ok with it, but now I have project which requires me to use jitter and create visuals to music according to frequency and tempo, etc.

I have never used jitter before and am finding it difficult to get started, has anyone got any example pathces I could take a look at to get me started or any advice about which objects i should use..

Thanks for you help

You should do the tutorials (lots of patches in there). Look in the
jitter-examples folder on your computer. Then take a look at the
Jitter Recipes on the cycling 74 website. And then, if that’s not
enough for you, there are plenty of users offering up patches on their
websites. But look at the other stuff first.
