VST inside Poly, Target 0 not working?

VST inside Poly, Target 0 not working?

Hey, I just planted a Vst inside a Poly Patcher.
As long as the Patcher Target ist 1,2 etc. everyhting works fine.

But as soon as I’m putting the Target Number to 0.
The Main thing I head is distortion. Like if everything is triggered very fast or something like that.

Anyone got an idea?

Target 0 targets every instance of the poly~, so if you’ve got a VSTi inside there and you’ve got say sixteen instances of it, then if you send a note preceded by a target 0 message then you will get the same note sixteen times which, depending on your settings could be VERY LOUD :)

I thought target zero would send the midievent to the first active instance?
When an instance is playing I’m deactivating it with thispoly

Reading the docs may be helpful. Quote from reference page:

“The message target 0 sends input to all instances”
