strange situation - been using abysnth in a maxforlive patch for years specifically because i wanted it to be independent of ableton's tempo. Now with everything recently updated, absynth is following the tempo of ableton - even when hosted in a max patch via vst~

I know how to make an independent transport (independent of live) but how do you get vst~ to follow the independent transport tempo and not that of ableton?

Does your plug have an internal sync option?

I wish it did! That would make all this unnecessary! Absynth doesn't have that option unfortunately. Hoping there is another way to have vst~ ignore live's clock.

This will require vst~ to be able to sync to named transports. I'll upvote the feature request.

In the meantime you might be able to get away with an older version of the vst~ object
