warning -> Xcode

March 3, 2007 | 9:15 pm

Again an other warning that i don’t understand in Xcode :
warning: control reaches end of non-void function

I don’t get it… it doesn’t happen under CodeWarrior !!!

Any idea ?

here is an example where it happens :

void *bendover_bang(x)
t_bendover *x;
{
DoFold(x);

}

Thanks for your help in advance.

This means that you have defined a function with a return value (in
your particular case, void *), but don’t return a value. You either
want to return a void pointer or declare your function as void (not
void *, two very different things).

Btw, better suited to dev list.
