I see this has been asked a few times, but I haven't seen an answer that I can manage yet... I'm not a regular jitter user, so I'd need some help!

Is there an easy way to stream video into jitter from an internet connection?

I'm doing a music performance soon, and I'd like a little visuals to be manimulated via midi. Currently I haven no webcam except for the one on my laptop, and that will just point at my waist. Boring!

I'm thinking to perhaps use my phone's camera with a daap server (this was demonstrated to me, but I haven't yet done it) to stream to my computer. I'd like to pull that stream in and manipulate it with jitter.

Any ideas, or was I might do this more easily? Seems like I'm making a difficult problem here, but it seems like it could work.... ?

I googled used iPhone as a webcam and got a couple apps that do this. They put something in the grabber that can stream your webcam but it seems to default to this which I find aggrivating.
