I am having problems with the new search. Results are not sorted by date, I think there are many duplicates, and they do not link correctly to posts, they just bring you to the forum home page.

I can't find anything right now. I found this thread by using "find" in my browser and going through the first few pages of the forums.

Is there any information on why the forums and search are being reworked? I thought I could find useful posts pretty easily, although it was always slow.

i really hope the current is not the final state of the forum search. i really liked to search only in a specific subforum. and the sorting by date comes back, does it? latest results at first please. often the 4-5 years old results are not that helpful.
