Did some of u here use frequently png sequence and treat them in jitter ? should be great to find some friend for share
all the best
Nobody ^^ ok…
i do a lot with video i convert to native jxf-image sequences and have some experience in handling these in jitter. what do you want to know? maybe i can help…
cool karl, In fact I’m doing a patch able to recognise a png sequence and load it frame by frame for doing some stuff, in my case I do video clip and my project is too use the enveloppe of an audio file for doing glitch on a png sequence with a good synchro
so, what’s your question?
for a general idea: i store each videoclip in a separate folder containing one jxf-file sequence. i read them in via a umenu, the folder name includes the number of frames. this framecount i read in (zl slice), and then feed into a counter which handles the playback.
yes karl , that’s probably the easyiest solution. I’m trying to do a patch a bit more smarter, able to recognize directly the different sequence in a same folder, I’m near but video and jitter isn’t really my priority for the moment so that’s why I answer only now. I will try to post the past once it is finished could be cool if that generate a bit of interest right here
