every time i try to post a patch here, it fails. i've posted quite a number of patches here, i know about 'copy compressed'. Is this a problem with the forum ?

Thats just a test to see if its possible and it appears to work. Wild guess - maybe your account has been flagged on/by this site for some reason as there doesn't seem to be any obvious way to disable via user account settings...
