Wii Object for Windows

January 3, 2011 | 9:44 pm

I’m running XP and I’m looking for a Wii object for windows. Every link that I find (inlcuding on here) the site is always down.
Any help would be much appreciated. Thanks

I used to use the tk.wii external, which is what I guess you’re looking for; no longer in my possession sadly – no joy on maxobjects database either. GlovePIE stuff is all gone too??

Strange

Can OSCulator help?

Hopefully someone can suggest an alternative.

Well you’ll have to forgive me, I’m still new to MaxMSP. I do have GlovePie installed and it seems to work but I don’t really know how to utilise it.
I have a project in MaxMSP and I want to know how to assign the Wii to a number box that I have so the number changes when you move the wii.
My PC recognises the Wii Remote as a BlueTooth device, I just dont know what to do next.

The old method (that I used) to get wii data into Max was: Wiimote->GlovePIE(midiOut)->MIDIYoke->Max(midiIn)

Then there’s Max externals such as aka.wiiremote or tk.wii, the latter having disappeared from the ether!?

I’m not familiar with OSCulator, but I know others use it to get wireless data into Max.
