workshop examples

hi all,

I’m looking for some good workshop group project ideas, for beginning
Max/Jitter users.

I’ve done things like creating custom playheads (frame $1 or time $1)
for jit.qt.movie, and creating simple video mixers (jit.xfade,
jit.op), as well as the ever-loving "drawing-in-jit.lcd". I can also
think of using jit.charmap and jit.noise to mess with color mapping.
Anyone have any good experiences with other projects? Small ones,
that can be done in a few hours?

Thanks in advance
Evan

motion or color tracking are always fun in workshops, it’s a classic.
i also plaid with networkable small appications, so students in workshops learn how to control each other’s patches.
Luke Dubois’s classes have a lot of simple ideas that are good start. i am not on my machine so i cant send you any link .right now
