Worse Jitter Framerate with jt.qt.movie than in Max 5

Opening a patch from Max 5, my Jitter framerate is just awful compared to the same patch in Max 5. Is this due to some change I need to make to get the patch running better in Max 6?

(I’m refering to playing videos with jt.qt.movie)

Did something change where I need to tweak some settings to get it back up to par?

As always, please provide examples with clear steps to reproduce. This way we can look into any issues.

Thanks,
Joshua

I am trying to figure out the exact cause, it seems to have something to do with having a lot of jitter effects inside of bpatchers (even when the effects are inactive). I would rather not put my code up publicly, can I email you or something? There is a huge difference between Max 5 and Max 6 for my patch, and my CPU goes nuts in Max 6, fans running at full speed.

@codysherman, yes — please send your patchers to support@cycling74.com with clear instructions for use, and we’ll take a look.

Or if you have a look on the download page there is a form for bug reports . . . Use it maybe . ..
