writewave message to buffer

October 14, 2008 | 10:07 pm

Sending writewave to buffer~ opens a dialog where a default name with the extension .wav is specified, but a type menu in the bottom says that the type of file that’s going to be save is aiff. Without changing that manually to wave as well, an audiofile is created that is not understood by quicktime. (10.5.5/5.0.5)
