Xcode based external that uses graphics?

Anyone have a sample simple ‘hello world’ project sitting around? This would be for Max4 as I know the SDK is not out yet for Max5.

I discovered that the UB download didn’t have all the stuff in it which is why I was not getting all the documentation and information I needed to write an external.

Makes much better sense now.

I think I will write my external for Max4 using the older methods first. Then, when the new SDK comes along, just port it over. Most of my methods will be pretty straight forward for this project so hopefully the GUI API differences will be easy to migrate.

I wonder if this would be a good idea.
Unfortunately I missed the Paris Ircam rendez-vous in June, so I don’t
have any Max5 SDK insights.
But AFAIK the Max 5 graphic stuff should be similar to Cairo.
That would mean you probably have to rewrite a lot of things.
I’m sure a Cycling74 Schleck will chime in.
