XML for <SCRIPT>

XML for <SCRIPT>

I just tried to continue a 2005 thread about XML parsing. I don’t know if that’s the right thing to do, so I’ll also post a new thread here.

I’m trying to implement the SAX parser found here:

http://xmljs.sourceforge.net/

Following their recipes, I’ve gotten this error:

• error: js: xmlsax.js: Javascript TypeError: strD.substring is not a function, line 1334
• error: js: error calling function startParser

I was wondering if anybody had succeed with this.

thanks,

mzed

Hi Michael,

Did you ever work this out? Just wondering whether there might be a
premade js xml parser for Max now. (I’m low on time and, obviously,
feeling lazy.)

This stuff works fine in js
You can put all their parsers etc in the js extensions folder and access it all from your js scripts.

If anyone’s still stuck I’ll try and tidy up an example.

I gave up and rolled my own. And now, I’m using jasch’s objects. You can see what I did at:

I am also trying to work with xmljs.
If any one has a simple working example it would be amazing..
I currently have the xml file being read, but nothing further.
