Here’s a little weekend treat. It’s been on my mind since I made the
timecube object to find a way to smooth out the edges between time
slices in the vertical and horizontal modes. The map mode is a more
difficult situation that will take some time to address.
In any case, I’ve made a fragment shader that takes car of the case of
mode 0 (horizontal time bands). It will smooth out the border between
these bands for a nicer look. There’s a parameter available for
setting the smoothing size. Below is a link to the shader and a demo
