I am working through uni finals project and am trying to find a way to control many filters and FX in a quick and easy way.

Are there any XY pad externals I could use?

All I can find are pads for mobile devices (I'm using OSX and Max5) and the xydisplay module does not seem to be much use.

If you need to find something that does something specific look in the Max objects by function section of the help files. I find this to be the most useful way of finding stuff. Also if you are using an object but it doesn't quite do what you want there are suggestions for alternatives in the object reference.

Either way hopefully one of these will be something like what you're after
