ZipException not found error

arg –

I’m sure there is something very simple I’m not doing correctly. I
have a jarfile I’m trying to use with mxj, and when I go to access one
of the classes in the jarfile I get

error: java.util.zip.ZipException: No such file or directory

apparently generated from the java.util.zip.ZipFile.open() method.
Any solution?

The mxj class I’m using to access the jarfile objects compiles fine,
and it loads into mxj but bombs when the jarfile class is attempted.
Modifying the mxj class to run as a standalone java app also runs fine.

MaxMSP 4.6.3 on an intel MacBook, OSX 10.4.11.

Like duh, I need to learn to parse java error messages all over again.
Sorry for the list-noise. Now I need to find why it isn’t locating
the file…
