002web Interface – a duo composed of violinist Dan Trueman and bassist Curtis Bahn – combines the territory of free improvisation with a powerful set of extended instruments; the duo’s 5-string vertical bass and a 6-string electric violin are transformed using Max and MSP into both the source of the sounds you hear and the means of their transformation. ./swank was recorded live before a live audience at Boston’s Mobius Arts Center.

It started as a website for a program called MSP

In 1997, the original website was designed by Cat’s Eye Press to use the Brush Script font, images from a 1974 Schwinn bicycle catalog, and a pastel-to-Howard Johnson color palette. And then things got out of hand.
