Hi,
I’ve been working on a player to trigger video files playback for theater or stage performances, that’s called Vimi.
No effects, evrything is designed for stability and HD playback.
Vimi is a dual player that is built around a playlist, that organises the files and displays a timeline to let you make autopauses and several actions during playback (loop , midi, positions recall…). The playback speed rate can be softly controled.
You can control timed mixing between to steps in the playlist, with video and audio editable curves.
you can also add blend points and audio level points at each frame, autoplay, automix, and change the playback behaviors.
The patch is “open source”, built in English the help file is available in French.

Shortcuts are customizable and the patch can be controled by externals (midi/osc).
The video part of the patch is made around openGL functions to control cropping, softedge, color adjustment, based onto the forums of Cycling74. Thanks for having answered to the HD last thread.
Each setting can be stored and recalled as a position cue. It uses jsx and modified shaders attached.

How was MAX used?

built with max and jitter with openGL video options, jxs faders for colour and softedge and blend control... designed for HD vidéo playback and stage mixing
