Day Trap

Day Trap seeks to prove that cinemagraphs can make FMV games better.

Cinemagraphs are shots that last for “x” amount of time because they loop. The shot could last a second. The shot could last a million, billion years. Loops allow for variability in cinema. This variability is very useful in a gaming context. Games are full of variables.

How did this project use Max?

Day Trap was developed entirely in Max 6 using the jit.qt.movie object. E-mail me if you want the source code: ned8901@rit.edu
