Livid CellDNA Video Control with Max For Live

Peter Nyboer

Austin, TX and San Jose, CA.

These Max For Live devices communicate with Livid CellDNA using udp (OSC) network message to provide live video controls directly from an Ableton Live set. Controllers, MIDI Clips, and Audio can all be used to control video clips and effects in CellDNA, allowing for improvised, automated, and/or scored video. In turn, CellDNA is a Max patch built into a standalone, and is extensible with Max5.

How was MAX used?

Combining a standalone Max patch and Max for Live. Jitter, MSP, M4L: in every way possible!
