Sound & Color Streams of the Lake Champlain Waterfront

Jenn
April 6, 2010
Vermont, USA

Authors: Jenn Karson, Matt Larson

An experimental art installation that sends live sound and color streams from the Lake Champlain Waterfront into the international online project, the art collider (TAC). The installation uses temperature and humidity sensing and Max/MSP/Jitter.

Participation in the Art Collider and the synchronized event “Art Incurable” is a unique opportunity to simultaneously share and exchange explorations of sound, color, time & space of Lake Champlain in a site-based installation and in an online world of international artistic collaboration.

The live sound and video streams are part of the artists’ ongoing project sound and color: exploring time and place on the Lake Champlain waterfront.
