The idea was to use the experiments and data from the Large Hadron Collider as inspiration for creating a new virtual instrument – so you can actually ‘play’ the large hadron collider as a creative, performative musical instrument.

How was MAX used?

Wii remote data scaled using max to create a visually directive sampler instrument (with help from Logic Pro) controlled through intuitive, novel interaction.
